Here you have a storyline, which travels to Yashiro's past, in author's attempt to show the reader not just one clear picture, but many nuances, which can formulate your opinion about his surroundings, his first love and, of course, the main character himself. One more thing I love about this manga is that you don't see a simplistic idea of "boy falling in love with another boy", like in majority of BL. regardless of this, even though, he probably wouldn't be considered "normal" by many, I think, he's the most unflappable, realistic and composed character there is. Imho, he's not scared of something like death and, as you'll find out in the process of reading this masterpiece, physical and moral pain.

more yet he calmly accepts everything that happened to him. However, despite Yashiro no longer being tied to the family, Musumi still visits him in the casino, from time to time, in hopes that Yashiro might change his mind and return to the Shinsei-kai. He's "twisted beyond repair", as he said himself. Having left the family, Yashiro now makes a living as an investor of an underground casino. I really think that even a person, who generally dislikes yaoi, should give it a try.The main character is actually my favorite character of all times. The manga itself is well-developed and interesting. Review 2: A beautiful story about beautiful person. Which is why I think this is a great Yaoi Yakuza story! The cover is so unique and eye catching, it would be almost impossible to walk into a book store and not at least look at it! The storyline is also really good and the characters are really just amazing! Review 1: Kou Yoneda, your works are brilliant! Absolutely Brilliant! What I can appreciate about this manga is that it's not as cliché as some of the other Yakuza/ Japanese mafia stories floating around out there.
